The cutting edge of VDL is the product on which we dedicated the most of our research, attention and quality, based upon a completely solid state philosophy without transformers between the signal even though having a very high CMRR and a total insulation from external noise.

The component parts are the best available and every detail is carefully coupled by hand for a perfect specular course of the two signal portions.Technical specification of CMRR, THD, Slew Rate, Band Pass etc. without equals are merged in a sound of absolute refinement and extraordinary detail, linear in a frequency spectrum very far from the audible.

One of the most amazing aspects is the absolute noiselessness even at high gain (+50 db): not any perception, even instrumental, of any noise. A machine that strongly affects the quality of a recording or live amplification chain, completely respecting the character of every element connected to it.

As the name suggest, the Duepre has two preamplification channels with the classic functions of low pass filter,
phase inversion, 48 volts for condenser microphones and selection between line in and mic in, selectable with front panel switches that controls even relays of superior quality with gold contacts on the board so as the signal maintains a very short course and the commutation remains perfect, without any decrease.

The GAIN acts from a few dB to about 60 dB and its selection is controlled by a rotative commutator with 24 positions with contacts in gold plated silver Swiss made.

The 48V is guaranteed absolutely stable without disturbs.

A LINE in is present for who wants to pass through the Duepre a signal already preamplified at +4dB in various impedances. Being this in completely separated from the mic in, the 48V tension can be left active without any danger.

FILTRO is a low pass Butterworth of the third order that starts its cut at 100Hz and attenuates with a pendence of 18dB for octave. The quality of the filter lefts completely unaltered the spectrum over the 100Hz. The Duepre is completely free of those very common "humps" in the frequencies above the cut.

The PHASE with which are cabled the inputs and outputs is the classic with the hot pole in the 2nd pin, invertible to be adaptable to machines with different phases.

Every channel has a second balanced specular output to the first, completely decoupled from the first one.
